Thanks to the memory properties of nylon, compressed pile will spring back once weight is removed, minimising tracking – for example, where the centre of a corridor looks flat compared to the edges.
And because the solution dyed pile fibre has the pigment added before it’s spun the colour runs right through, allowing aggressive cleaning where necessary.
